4/19/2018 0 Comments Creating a Spa-Like Shower At HomeThe other day I wasn't feeling well and with shivers creeping in, I decided to indulge in a long shower. It was just what the doctor ordered, and it got me thinking, that a shower can really be an oasis getaway. Now don't get me wrong, I'm a huge fan of a bubble bath with a book and a glass of wine., but, I also almost never have enough time to let the water run long enough at the perfect temperature let alone get in and soak. So that being said, I put together my list for the best shower accessories to upgrade and modernize your shower into your very own spa getaway. 1. Dispensers Transferring your products into dispensers is an easy way to add glam or a polished finish to your space. I love using clear dispensers to see how much Is left and know when to refill. 2. Draining Soap Holder There's nothing worse than reaching for soap and feeling a mushy layer coating the bottom of the bar. Finding soap containers with draining options can be hard, here are a few that I love - they look good and are super functional. 3. Squeegee If you have a glass door shower, keeping an elegant squeegee handy will save you hours down the line with cleaning. A quick swipe post shower, bundled in your towel can avoid a lot of the mineral buildup especially her in California with our super hard water. (Ok, I get how this doesn't sound spa-like at all, but hey having a clean shower is a must for any good shower. :-p)
4. Favorite Products I not only keep my favorite products in the shower, but also a back-up of any of them under the sink so that I never run out. Above are some I can't live without.. Nordstrom These are all on my wish list love the details in the towel and robe and the bath rug looks so clean and modern. 5. Post Shower Necessities Stepping out of the shower and being covered in plush from your head to your toes is a must. The perfect towel seals in the experience. It's like putting a bow on a present... and you'll need to know the perfect bow for your robe as you relish the final moments of your shower spa escape at home. Hope you got some good ideas to make your own personal spa getaway at home. It's hard to always make time for ourselves, but making the everyday tasks just a little bit better can bring a whole lot more brightness to your day. It's a domino effect, with each thing that brings you a smile, more are sure to follow. xoxo,Jessica
